Esrat Alam is one of renowned professionals in the field of Autism and other Neuro-Developmental Disorders (ANDD) in Bangladesh. She earned BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from CRP under the University of Dhaka and completed master degree in clinical social work from the same university. She was awarded KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) fellowship on Multi-year Competency Enhancement of Diagnosis and Treatment of ASD in Bangladesh. Ms Alam is well experienced in dealing with special need children with her sound skills on ABA, floortime, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Articulation and Phonological Intervention, AAC, Communication & Social Interaction etc.
